如果美国首先进入，沙特阿拉伯只会向叙利亚派遣部队
沙特阿拉伯外交部长阿德尔·朱贝尔在接受法国电视台采访时表示，沙特阿拉伯只有在美国决定在地面上穿靴子时，才会派遣地面部队前往叙利亚。
个月，华盛顿宣布派遣250名美军 ，此外还有50名特种作战部队已经在当地帮助训练叙利亚的当地武装分子对抗Daesh （ISIS）。
“如果美国派遣地面部队前往叙利亚与达伊斯（伊斯兰国）作战，沙特阿拉伯将准备派遣特种部队与这些部队一起，但我们不会单方面派遣部队，”这位部长星期二对法国24日表示。
