In the aftermath of the historic U.S. Supreme Court decision overturning Title V of the Voting Rights Act, the number of challenges to voting rights have grown to levels not seen since before the Civil Rights Movement. With voter ID laws on the books in 26 states, four that have changed the rules for voting registration, one that is actively seeking to redraw voting districts and another that has thrown nearly every voter disenfranchisement strategy available at limiting its youth and minority vote, the need to ensure the sanctity of the vote has never been greater.
